San Gabriel Unified School District presents the Portrait of a Graduate, a visionary expression of the qualities and skills the District seeks to develop in all students who earn a diploma from SGUSD.
The Portrait of a Graduate contains eight areas important to ensuring that students complete their school experience ready for college and career and prepared to contribute and thrive in the world around them. They are Creative Thinker, Collaborator, Global Citizen, Empathetic, Communicator, and Resilient.
The San Gabriel Educational Advisory Committee collaborated to create this vision and plan for the development of these future ready competencies in our students.
