Certificated Employment

Applications, which meet the minimum requirements of a Bachelor’’s Degree from an accredited university and verification of passage of the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), will be screened by school site and department personnel with vacancies to determine those selected for an interview. First priority for hiring is given to those applicants who hold a valid California credential or are eligible for a California credential (e.g., out of state teaching license) and are No Child Left Behind (NCLB) compliant (highly qualified). Applications are retained for one year after date of receipt.

Substitute Teaching

First priority for hiring is given to those applicants who hold a California credential or are eligible for a California credential (e.g., out of state teaching license).
