Community Resource Guide

For all families, especially those in need of assistance. We have uploaded the District Community Resource Guide under the "Parents" tab at the top of the website. It is also included here if you click on the headline of this article.

The Guide is filled with resource links from counseling to food and clothing banks, shelter resources and many hotlines that may provide assistance. You can also dial 211 on your phone or go to the LA 211 website to access resources.

TK/K Parent Information Night is scheduled to take place on February 25, 2019 at 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Jefferson Middle School.

LOCAL CONTROL AND ACCOUNTABILITY PLAN LCAP, 2017-20

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Annual Update Template shall be used to provide details regarding local educational agencies (LEAs) actions and expenditures to support pupil outcomes and overall performance pursuant to Education Code sections 52060, 52066, 47605, 47605.5, and 47606.5. The LCAP and Annual Update Template must be completed by all LEAs each year.

SGUSD 1:1 Device Initiative

Summer 2016 will be a year to remember for the Information Technology Services Department (ITS), Purchasing and Warehouse Department. Throughout the summer, the different departments coordinated themselves and devoted endless hours purchasing, tagging, etching, designing, inventorying, prepping, imaging, registering and configuring over 2800 mobile devices that consists of iPads, Chromebooks, iMacs, MacBook Air, and Windows mobiles devices.

SB 359 - California Math Placement Policy for Grades 6-9 Students

The purpose of the policy is to create a fair, objective, and transparent protocol that serves pupils who are transitioning between elementary and middle school and middle school and high school. Beginning in the 2016-17 school year, the District will implement the requirements of the California Mathematics Placement Act of 2015 to accurately evaluate and place students in appropriate mathematics courses.
