SGUSD's Transitional Kindergarten program is available at all elementary schools and provides children with a joyful, play-based learning experience that builds a strong foundation for future academic success. Through hands-on exploration, students develop confidence, communication skills, creativity, empathy, and a love of learning while building early literacy, math, science, and social-emotional skills.
Children who turn 4 years old by September 1, 2026 are eligible to enroll in TK.

After completing the online enrollment form, families will be contacted by their school to schedule an appointment to submit the required enrollment documents.
