The K-12 Technology Scope and Sequence is integrated and aligned with Common Core State Standards and includes skills required for the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium’s computer adaptive testing. The document was designed to serve as referral and guidance to educators to more effectively integrate technological skills within the curriculum. The new standards based report card for grades kindergarten through 5th include an evaluation of student digital literacy. The K-12 Scope and Sequence can assist teachers in making this determination.
Also included is the K-12 Technology Digital Literacy Continuum. This document offers suggested activities for meaningful technology integration and practices for implementation of the K-12 Technology Skills Scope and Sequence.
