Welcome to Online Enrollment
Online Enrollment allows you to begin the enrollment process for students new to the district.
If your child has previously been enrolled in an SGUSD school or is currently attending school in SGUSD, contact the office of your home school for more information.
2019-2020 enrollment is available now.
2020-2021 enrollment will be available:
New elementary students beginning February 26, 2020
New middle and high school students beginning May 4, 2020
The online process typically takes 10-20 minutes and requires a valid email address. If you are unable to complete the process in one sitting, you may logout, and resume the process at a later time using your email address and a password you select.
Please note that enrollment is not complete until the online enrollment and residency information has been reviewed and verified by your school and your school determines the entire enrollment process to be complete. After completing this process, parents must schedule a meeting with the school to review information and present required documents.

Assigned Neighborhood Schools
Elementary students are assigned to their neighborhood elementary school based on their address. Parents must enroll their student at their neighborhood school. Please check with your closest neighborhood elementary school or call the district office if you are not sure which school your child should attend.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
A child who will be 5 years old between September 2, 2020 and December 2, 2020 is eligible to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year. TK classes will be held at McKinley, Roosevelt, Washington and Wilson school sites. When enrolling your child, select TK as the grade placement and select your neighborhood school as the school. If your neighborhood school does not have a TK program, your child will be assigned to a school that has a TK program. Your school will forward correct grade placement and enrollment information to the appropriate TK school.
Dual Immersion - Mandarin or Spanish
SGUSD will be offering a kindergarten Mandarin or Spanish dual language immersion program where students learn to speak, read and write in English and Mandarin or Spanish. The goal of the program is to include biliteracy, multiculturalism and global citizenship. District residents interested in enrolling in dual immersion, may fill out a Student Intent to Enroll Application and submit at the district office located at 408 Junipero Serra Drive, San Gabriel.
