Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, the San Gabriel Unified School District operates a Purchasing Department and Warehouse Services directed by the Purchasing Supervisor. The Purchasing Department is responsible for procurement of supplies, equipment and services necessary to provide a quality instructional program for our students.

Under the direction of the Purchasing Supervisor, the Central Warehouse is responsible for the receiving and shipping of textbooks, materials, supplies, and equipment ordered by school site personnel. It is also used to order supplies from the District Warehouse. This is accomplished by the site or department submitting an electronic Warehouse Requisition which is then filled and delivered to the sites by District staff. Other responsibilities include the management of the District’s equipment inventory and mail delivery.
